Cassandra (Sandy) Alston is a native of New Jersey and has 20 years experience in engineering and operations, project management, strategic consulting, and diversity.
Presently Sandy is Executive Director, Global Workforce Diversity. In this role she develops and manages diversity initiatives globally across all business units for the corporation.
Previous to this role Sandy was Vice President of Operations for the Johnson Controls Facility Management business. In this role she managed the technical and operational team supporting all Facility Management accounts in the USA and Latin America.
Sandy’s work experience prior to Johnson Controls includes operations consulting with Booz Allen & Hamilton, operations at Enron, and as a plant engineer/analyst for Exxon Mobil.
Sandy received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University where she was also captain of the Women’s Basketball team. She additionally holds an MBA from Northwestern University where she was also an Austin Scholar.
