David Thompson is currently Senior Principal Systems Engineer within the Chemistry Systems and High Performance Computing group at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. In this role, David develops and applies novel computational tools to scientific problems. David is a passionate advocate for diversity in all things, and recently became co-chair of the NxGen Employee Resource Group; a group dedicated to effectively leveraging similarities and differences between and across the multiple generations currently participating in the work force. David has a PhD in Theoretical Chemistry from the University of Cambridge, and a Masters degree in Chemical Physics from University College London.
