Dott. Ida Castiglioni

Dott. Ida Castiglioni is a professor of intercultural communication in the graduate program of intercultural relations in the Department of Sociology, University of Milano-Bicocca. She is also a psychotherapist and an adjunct faculty member of the Institute of Somatic Psychology in Milano. Dott. Castiglioni conducts programs that include multicultural teamwork, global leadership, and diversity training for both corporations and public institutions in Europe, Africa, the Russian Federation and the United States. Her clients include Eni Corporation, Lak Group, Brembo, Aventis Group, the European Commission, the Chambers of Commerce of Milano and Bologna, and the Province of Milano. She is the Italian editor of the translated version of Basic Concepts of Intercultural Communication (M.Bennett, ed., FrancoAngeli Press). Her current books (in Italian) are Intercultural Communication: Competence and Practice (Carocci Editore, Roma) and There is a Difference: The Management of Diversity in the Organization of Social Services and Healthcare (Franco Angeli Press).
