Jackie Munson

Global Inclusion & Diversity Leader ,  Cisco Systems, Inc.

With over 11 years of experience at Cisco Systems in a variety of roles in Marketing, Corporate Positioning and Human Resources, Jackie Munson is currently the global ERG leader, overseeing Cisco’s 12 Employee Resource Groups and is responsible for setting the vision, strategy and execution for evolving and aligning Cisco’s ERGs to be positioned as value add organizations. 

Before joining Inclusion and Diversity within HR, Jackie served as the executive communications manager to Cisco’s Chief Marketing Officer and drove the communication and brand for several key initiatives within Cisco, both internally and externally.  

Jackie has leveraged her extensive background in executive communications, corporate positioning and marketing in her most recent role within Inclusion and Diversity to influence and build awareness across Cisco’s borderless enterprise to position the ERGs as critical business drivers to Cisco’s overall strategy. In addition, she co-created the ERG Progression Model that Cisco now uses to measure ERG effectiveness. 

Being a visionary at heart, Jackie pursued a technical idea in 2006 to be considered for a Cisco Patent which was filed, approved and published in 2007 with the United States Patent office. 

Jackie enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter and is an avid runner and inspires men and women to reach their highest potential, both personally and professionally.
