Jennifer "Jae" Pi’ilani Requiro is the manager of diversity consulting and inclusion strategies at Toyota Motor Sales. She develops strategies to support diversity and inclusion objectives and established Toyota Business Partnering Groups. Her work at Toyota results in invitations to present at numerous conferences and educational forums. For example, Jae has led sessions for Conference Board, Social Venture Network and the Torrance Chamber of Commerce.
Jae earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology, specializing in stratification, race, and ethnicity with an emphasis in business administration from UCLA. Because of her work at Toyota, she was featured in aMagazine as a role model for breaking stereotypes of Asian Americans and has been interviewed for DiversityInc. Recently, she was invited to join the Diversity Collegium, because of her experience researching generational differences. In Jae’s spare time, she dances hula, paddles outriggers, and is a Gen X single mother to a tween daughter, her source of inspiration and perspiration.
