Jocelyn Whitfield Banks is Chair of The Kroger Company’s Associate Resource Group Steering Committee. She formed this group of leaders in 2007 to bring Affinity Groups to Kroger. The ARGSC creates, administers and manages the policies and operating procedures that create and support all Associate Resource Groups. Prior to joining Kroger, Jocelyn served as co-founder of the first Affinity Group at Reed Elsevier’s child corporation LexisNexis.
Jocelyn holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Engineering and is a graduate of the Greater Cincinnati Urban League’s African American Leadership Program. Jocelyn also serves the Department of Defense as a reviewer in their Breast Cancer Research Program.
Jocelyn currently resides in Cincinnati OH where she actively serves the local Susan G. Komen Affiliate, the Cincinnati Urban League, as Troop Leader for the Girl Scouts of America’s Southwestern Ohio Division and Vice-President of The Pink Ribbon Girls.
