Melissa Donaldson is Director of Inclusion Practices for CDW, an $8 billion leading provider of technology products and services for business, government and education. Ms. Donaldson is the first to lead corporate-wide diversity and inclusion efforts in the company's history.
Melissa is responsible for driving diversity and inclusion awareness and initiatives throughout the enterprise both domestically and in Canada. Her responsibilities include developing strategic plans, leading the executive inclusion council, providing council and guidance on diverse recruiting, diversity education, multicultural communication initiatives, and multicultural leadership development that support business growth. Within the first year of her practice, Melissa developed an executive inclusion advisory council and launched a series of coworker resource networks known as Connections Nodes. She is a strategic partner to CDW's Executive Committee and all business units. Her efforts led to CDW being awarded the coveted EVE Award by the United States Department of Labor in 2008.
Prior to joining CDW in 1999, Melissa has held positions of increasing responsibility at Moore Business Forms, Drake Beam Morin, Digital Equipment Corporation, and Atlantic Research Corporation. Melissa’s thought leadership has been quoted or published in Profiles in Diversity Journal, Diversity Executive and Workforce Management magazines.
Donaldson holds a B.S. in Management Science from Wright State University, and an MSA from Central Michigan University.
