Nancy Calderon is Chief Administrative Officer, KPMG Americas Region, and U.S. National Partner in Charge, Operations. In her role, she executes many of the firm’s Operations strategies and key infrastructure initiatives, ranging from Information Technology and Finance & Accounting to Procurement, Real Estate, and Enterprise Risk.
She sits on a number of KPMG committees including the Americas Region Management Committee, Enterprise Risk Management, Privacy, Knowledge Management, Pension Steering and Investment, and Professional Practice. She is a permanent guest and presents frequently to the Audit, Finance, and Operations Committee of KPMG’s Board of Directors.
Nancy has more than 24 years experience with KPMG, having held a variety of operational, client service, and leadership positions in the firm’s Audit and Federal Tax practices. She became a partner in 1999 and assumed her current U.S. role in July 2008 after serving 10 years as National Director of Trust Tax Services based in San Francisco, where she was account executive for the private wealth groups of Citigroup Inc., Atlantic Trust Co., Bank of the West, Wells Fargo, and Union Bank of California, among others. She was named to her Americas role in 2010.
In addition to her client and organizational responsibilities, Nancy chairs KPMG’s Women’s Advisory Board, addressing issues and initiatives supporting women’s professional development and advancement in the workplace, and is a member of KPMG’s Diversity Advisory Board.
Since moving to New York City with her family in 2008, Nancy has become active in the city’s business community. She serves on the board of the Advisory Board of Women Corporate Directors, and the Women’s Initiative for Self Employment. She is a member of the Economic Club of New York and the New York Women’s Forum. In 2009, Nancy was honored as a “Woman Worth Watching” and a 2010 Supplier Diversity Leader by Profiles in Diversity Journal. While living on the west coast, Nancy served as executive board vice president and special events chair for the Lindsay Wildlife Museum and, the treasurer and board member of the Oakland YMCA, among other community leadership positions.
Nancy holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley and a master’s degree in taxation from Golden Gate University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the New York Society of CPAs.
