Privacy Policy Statement    (Effective Date: As of August 25, 2006)

At the Public Affairs Group (“PAG,” “Us” or “We”), we are committed to creating a safe and inviting environment where we are able to further educate and inform corporate representatives about what is happening worldwide in the areas of diversity, diversity development/management, corporate communication and women, marketing and women’s associations.

This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes our practices regarding the privacy of information that we collect through our Internet websites, located at www.bwni.com, www.bpincc.com, www.diversitybestpractices.com, www.ewowfacts.com and www.tpag.com (collectively, the "Site"). By using the Site, you signify that you agree to the terms and conditions of this Policy. If you do not agree to this Policy, please do not use the Site.

Your personal information, and the information of all PAG members, is used by us to ensure that we are providing you with the most relevant content, information and mentoring opportunities. Please read the Policy carefully.

Questions regarding this statement should be directed to the PAG Site or by sending an email to: web@tpag.com with "Privacy Statement" in the subject line.

How We Collect Information
Many of the ways in which you interact with our site allow us to learn more about you. We collect and store statistics and other information about the online activities of our visitors on an aggregated (collective) basis. For example, we track the number of people who view each page to learn which features are the most popular. PAG collects two types of data about visitors to the Site ("Visitors"): (a) "Personally Identifiable Information"—that is, information from which an individual can be identified, such as an individual’s full name, email address, home address, and telephone number—that individual Visitors provide when using certain of the Site’s features; and (b) "Tracking Data", which is automatically collected from every Visitor. The Site also collects information through the use of "cookies." Our collection of Personally Identifiable Information and Tracking Data, as well as our use of cookies, is described in more detail below.

Personally Identifiable Information. You do not have to provide Personally Identifiable Information to use the majority of our Site. However, your use of particular services made available through the Site may require us to collect Personally Identifiable Information from you. We collect such Personally Identifiable Information only when you affirmatively provide it to us —for example, when registering for events online or newsletters. You may be asked to provide your contact information (such as your name, postal address, telephone numbers, and/or email address), financial information (such as credit card information) and demographic information (such as your age or Zip code) in connection with your use of PAG’s services or, for example, if you choose to become a PAG member or to shop online. Remember that no Personally Identifiable Information is actually submitted through the Site until you click the “SUBMIT” or similar button on the form into which you have entered such information.

How We Use and Disclose Your Information
As a general practice, we do not sell your personally identifiable information to third parties. So, for example, we do not sell your e-mail addresses or your name and personal demographic information to mass marketers. However, on particular pages where we ask for your personally identifiable information, we may explicitly tell you that the data we are collecting on that page will be shared with third parties, in which case those disclosures shall override anything to the contrary in this policy. For example, before you submit answers to questions we ask in an advertiser-sponsored promotion, we will tell you that your answers will be shared with that advertiser. At any time, you can contact us through [email address or link for opt-out of Affiliate disclosures] to opt out of having your personally identifiable information disclosed by us to our affiliates for their direct marketing purposes.

We use your information on an aggregated basis to do such things as operate and enhance our site. We also use this data, both aggregated and personally identifiable, to enhance your on-site experience by displaying content and communication that we believe will be of interest to you. We reserve the right to disclose aggregated information about our site to third parties with or without your authorization. Aggregated Information is aggregated demographic and other information derived from Personally Identifiable Information provided by our Visitors but which cannot be connected with an individual in a personally identifiable manner.

Note that some online activities you choose to do necessarily lead to disclosure of your personally identifiable information to third parties, such as when you include your name and email address in a postcard or when you order publications in the store. In these cases, again, your choice to disclose personally identifiable information is voluntary.

In some cases, we use your personally identifiable information to provide information to you, such as to send site updates and event information to you that you request or to personalize the site in accordance with your requests. If you contact us by email through the Site, we may keep a record of your contact information and correspondence, and we reserve the right to use your email address, and any information you provide in your message, to respond thereto and to provide you with marketing and promotional materials regarding PAG, our affiliated companies as well as advertisers.

Websites Controlled, Owned or Operated by iVillage or iVillage Affiliates : We may share personally identifiable information collected from you through the Site with other websites that are controlled, owned or operated by iVillage or iVillage affiliates ("Affiliates"). For example, when you visit the astrology.com site, which is also operated by iVillage, iVillage may use information provided by you through the
Site to "pre-populate" forms on the astrology.com site, to determine what advertising you see while visiting that site, or simply to better accommodate your likes and dislikes.

Disclosure to Service Providers. PAG may work with third parties who provide services that may include, but are not necessarily limited to, website hosting, data analysis, email services, and other services of an administrative or technical nature. PAG reserves the right to share Personally Identifiable Information with such third parties for the purpose of providing such services.

Disclosure of Tracking Data. PAG may use Tracking Data to create aggregate reports on Visitor demographics, Site traffic patterns and user behavior, and may provide these reports to advertisers and other third parties. None of the foregoing information that we may provide to such advertisers or third parties is personally identifiable—that is, can be connected by such advertisers or third parties to the Personally Identifiable Information supplied to PAG by individual Visitors.

Use of Email Addresses Sending Notices Regarding the Site and Our Policies. From time to time, in our sole discretion, we may email information regarding the use of the Site or its services, or changes to our site policies or this Policy, to Visitors who have provided us with their respective email addresses—whether through a specific Site service, an email link, or otherwise. Visitors may not "opt out" of receiving these emails.

Other Disclosures. Finally—and notwithstanding any other provision of this Policy—PAG reserves the right to disclose Personally Identifiable Information about our Visitors or other users to third parties under any of the following circumstances: when we believe in good faith that the law requires it (for example, in response to a court order or a subpoena); to our professional advisors; to enforce any terms of service; to protect the rights, property, safety or security of PAG, our Visitors, or the public, to respond to an emergency or in the event of a sale, merger, assignment, joint venture or other transfer or disposition of a portion or all of the assets or stock of PAG or any of its affiliate or parent companies. Please note that PAG reserves the right to share any personally identifiable information or other information about you which you provide to ( or which is gathered by) the PAG with any or all of its subsidiaries and affiliates and will also have access to any such information which you provide to ( or which is gathered by) the web sites of any PAG subsidiary or affiliate.

Cookies and Other Tracking Methods
Cookies are small pieces of information stored on your hard drive, not on our site. We use cookies or, in a limited number of cases, IP addresses for a number of reasons. First, cookies allow you to store your password without having to constantly re-enter it. Second, cookies can also help us to tailor a Web site, communication, event or marketing messages to better match your needs and interests. Third, cookies allow us to better understand how users use our site, which in turn helps us focus our resources on features that are most popular with our users. You are always free to decline our cookies if your browser permits, but some parts of our site may not work properly if you do. WE ALSO MAY USE COOKIES TO “PRE-POPULATE” CERTAIN FORMS WITH YOUR PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION, FOR EXAMPLE, TO AUTOMATICALLY INSERT YOUR NAME AND OTHER CONTACT INFORMATION WHEN YOU WISH TO CONTACT MULTIPLE PAG PROPERTIES.

Note: diversitybestpractices.com places advertising on our sites that originates from outside advertisers who are typically our members, or our event or publication sponsors. In some cases, if you click on or view these ads, a cookie may be assigned by the advertiser.

Limits on Our Abilities
Although your privacy is very important to us, due to the existing legal regulatory and security environment, we cannot fully ensure that your private communications and other personally identifiable information will not be disclosed to third parties. The government or third parties under certain circumstances may intercept or access transmissions or private communications. Additionally, in the unlikely event we need to investigate or resolve possible problems or inquiries, we can (and you authorize us to do so) disclose any information about you to private entities, law enforcement or other government officials as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate.

Correcting Your Information. Visitors may correct or update their Personally Identifiable Information at any time by emailing us at webmaster@bwni.com. We reserve the right, from time to time, to re-contact former Visitors to the Site. Please note: we are not responsible for retracting Personally Identifiable Information from third-party lists or from entities with which we have shared your information pursuant to the terms and conditions of this Policy.

Message Boards. PAG may provide access to a networking message board located on PAG website at www.bpincc.com Any information you disclose on the message board becomes public information and is immediately accessible on the Site, so it is important for you to exercise discretion and appropriate caution when deciding to reveal personal information in these areas. Your use of the message board is subject to the iVillage’s Terms of Service [MAKE THIS A LINK] and this Privacy Policy.

Advertisements. PAG does not currently use any outside advertising company ("Advertiser") to serve banner or other advertisements on the Site. However, PAG reserves the right to use third party advertising companies to serve such advertisements in the future. If so, please be advised that such third parties may place cookies in your browser's cookie file, which would enable such third parties to record which ads your browser has accessed, and which Site pages you may have been viewing when the ads were delivered. Such cookies would only be able to be viewed by the applicable third party, Advertiser(s) and/or their agents, and not by PAG.

Claims of Copyright Infringement. The Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (the "DMCA") provides recourse for copyright owners who believe that material appearing on the Internet infringes their rights under U.S. copyright law. If you believe in good faith that materials hosted by PAG infringe your copyright, you (or your agent) may send PAG a notice requesting that the material be removed or access to it blocked. The notice must include the following information (a) a physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed; (b) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or if multiple copyrighted works located on this website are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works); (c) identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or the subject of infringing activity, and information reasonably sufficient to allow PAG to locate the material on the Site; (d) the name, address, telephone number and email address (if available) of the complaining party; (e) a statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and (f) a statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed. If you believe in good faith that a notice of copyright infringement has been wrongly filed against you, the DMCA permits you to send PAG a counter-notice. Notices and counter-notices must meet the then-current statutory requirements imposed by the DMCA; see http://www.loc.gov/copyright for details. Notices and counter-notices with respect to this website should be sent to: Laura O’Daly, Senior Vice President of Legal Affairs, iVillage Inc., 500 Seventh Avenue, 14th Floor, New York, New York 10018, 212-600-6000, DMCANOTICE@mail.ivillage.com. PAG suggests that you consult your legal advisor before filing a notice or counter-notice. Also, be aware that there can be penalties for false claims under the DMCA.

Security
We use industry-standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal identifiable information, such as firewalls and Secure Socket Layers where appropriate. However, "perfect security" does not exist on the Internet.

Please note that we review our privacy practices from time to time, and that those practices (and this Privacy Policy) are, therefore, subject to change. We ask that you bookmark and periodically review this page to ensure continuing familiarity with the most current version of our Privacy Policy. At the top of this page, we will indicate the "Effective Date" of the most recent version of the Privacy Policy; this will allow you to determine whether the Privacy Policy has been revised since your previous visit to the Site.

We hope this policy clarifies our procedures regarding your personal information.
