Flexible Work: A Critical Component of a Diversity and Inclusion Strategy

In the early days of flexible work, companies considered it a “nice-to-have” benefit and accommodation for individual employees. It wasn’t viewed as something that could help the organization meet business goals. As flexible work has evolved over the last several decades, companies have discovered that flexible work is a win/win that can meet employee needs while lowering costs, increasing organizational performance, yielding higher earnings and increasing shareholder value. In addition, flex-focused organizations are able to capture and retain the skills and knowledge of a wider range of talent, making it an ideal addition to a corporate diversity and inclusion strategy.
