2006 500 Web Sites: A Quantitative and Qualitative Diversity Assessment

Diversity on a website is a competitive advantage. Diversity Best Practices has completed a major study with a Quest team from the University of Maryland. Note that 500 websites from corporate America (with 25 university and other non-profit sites included or 545 sites) were analyzed from 38 industries. Each website was judged as to whether or not they contained each of 43 criteria and were awarded 1 point for each that they had. The data entry included more than 25,000 data points and then a quantitative listing and review by industry.
